Winged Wonders

Sand Hollow has over 250 species of birds visit the reservoir each year.

Bring a chair and binoculars, and join the ranger at the dive park off the main boat ramp to catch a glimpse at some of these amazing birds and chat with the local bird enthusiasts from the Red Cliffs Audubon Society.

The event is free to the public.

Join a Park Ranger for a nighttime adventure among the glowing arachnids. Enjoy a 1/2 mile loop walk starting at the OHV staging area.

Please wear closed-toe shoes, bring your UV Flashlights if you have them, and be ready to be amazed.

The event is free to the public with the cost of the park entry admission.
