Together they will visit 17 parks this summer during June and July, bringing free art lessons and projects to the community. Starting in May, enjoy the works of local artists presenting over 175 new works of art at our “Portals and Pathways" art show, 220 N 200 E.The show starts on May 9 and there is an artist's reception from 6 pm to 8pm. Food, Refreshments and prizes will be offered. The public is invited. The show runs through June 19 and all art work is for sale. Gallery hours are M-F, 9am to 5pm and Sat 12 noon to 4pm. The paintings of Noelle Kershaw will be the featured artist during the show.
There will be many new transparent watercolor paintings on display at Gallery 35. All art is created locally by members of the Dixie Watercolor Society and is framed and available for sale.
The Washington City Arts Council invites young artists ages 8–12 to join the Creative Youth Studio on Saturday, May 31 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Historic Relief Society Hall, 100 W Telegraph St, Washington, UT.
This exciting one-day event will give children the opportunity to explore their creativity through three hands-on art activities, led by experienced local artists. Participants will rotate through sessions in: Air-Dry Clay Sculpting, Torn Paper Pictures, and Watercolor Painting.
All materials are included, and the cost is just $15 per child for all three activities
